- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Married or single
- Emotionally stable
- Financially stable
- Physically able to care for a child
You must be willing to:
- Open your heart and home to children in need
- foster or adopt children with backgrounds of abuse and neglect
- attend pre-service training and participate in home study
- get a fire inspection and meet any requirements
- maintain minimum health and safety standards
- maintain required annual training hours
- allow caseworkers to visit in your home
- have a criminal history check completed
